Dallas Ducar is a health care strategist, nurse practitioner, and founder who builds and strengthens the organizations patients rely on.
She connects strategy, policy, and care delivery, with a long-standing focus on LGBTQ+ health and communities that health care too often leaves behind.
How she works
Strategy. Dallas helps organizations decide where to grow and how to get there, from long-term strategy and partnerships to business development and the structures that carry plans through. She is currently Chief Strategy Officer at Fenway Health.
Building organizations. As founding President and CEO of Transhealth, she led a new health center through its opening in May 2021 as its team built primary care, mental health, research, education, and advocacy programs.
Health policy. She works across policy and operations, advising local, state, and national leaders and co-chairing the LGBTQ+ Health Care Alliance.
Clinical grounding. Trained as a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner, she brings a clinician’s questions to executive decisions: what patients need, what staff can sustain, and what it takes to keep care available.
